I totally forgot to ask you about this in my last email. Explain yourself! (Why did I think you already lived in Seattle?)
Heh, you probably thought that because I often talk like I do live in Seattle...

To briefly explain: I lived in Seattle for 6ish years (moved there when I started college). Moved to Vancouver BC to go to grad school/seminary, lived there for 2 years. Moved to Bellingham Washington (about 90 miles north of Seattle) with the intention of going to grad school there (have been living here for a year), that didn't work out so I applied at Seattle Pacific University, got in so get to move back. So today I have been packing my stuff into a truck and trailer and tomorrow am heading down! Whoo hoo!

Ok, I guess that wasn't exactly brief...

my last trip to seattle? 1981! we were tourists from portland, oregon at the space needle!
I love Seattle! There are just so many fun things to do! Of course Portland has Powell's Books... pretty awesome. :)
Welcome back! If you visit the space needle, I'll be making your coffee in the sky!
Thanks :) Last time I actually went UP the needle (why is it so freaking expensive??) I captured this shot. It seems like the best time to go up is when it is completely clear and sunny... and you have a coupon.

I don't drink coffee (I know, sacrilege in Seattle, I feel the shame every day...), but maybe I will stop by sometime. Although I would probably feel really awkward...
hot cocoa? Italian soda? *ha ha* guess we found a limit to stalking capabilities! Money! No idea why it's $15 bucks a pop. I always feel so bad, cause then we charge $3 for soda, $2 for a bag of chips, $7 for Lunchables!

...But I get to go up for free! Any time I want! And I can take up to 8 people with me. ... Though, as yet, I've been too lazy to go at all when I'm not working. But I'm gonna try to force myself tomorrow.

That was a nice photo, by the way. That's why I gotta get my butt up there: so I can take my camera with me.
Heh, yes, I could definitely be up for one of those... it's that $15 to get me there that is rough! I guess I will have to be one of your 8 some day!

$7 for Lunchables? That doesn't even sound legal.

You really do need to take the time to enjoy the free trip up. Especially when it is clear... and when you can stay till it is night too... and take a tripod. If I cannot get up there frequently, I MUST encourage you to do it for me!

Glad you liked the photo... if only I had a dSLR!!!
