To briefly explain: I lived in Seattle for 6ish years (moved there when I started college). Moved to Vancouver BC to go to grad school/seminary, lived there for 2 years. Moved to Bellingham Washington (about 90 miles north of Seattle) with the intention of going to grad school there (have been living here for a year), that didn't work out so I applied at Seattle Pacific University, got in so get to move back. So today I have been packing my stuff into a truck and trailer and tomorrow am heading down! Whoo hoo!
Ok, I guess that wasn't exactly brief...
I don't drink coffee (I know, sacrilege in Seattle, I feel the shame every day...), but maybe I will stop by sometime. Although I would probably feel really awkward...
...But I get to go up for free! Any time I want! And I can take up to 8 people with me. ... Though, as yet, I've been too lazy to go at all when I'm not working. But I'm gonna try to force myself tomorrow.
That was a nice photo, by the way. That's why I gotta get my butt up there: so I can take my camera with me.
$7 for Lunchables? That doesn't even sound legal.
You really do need to take the time to enjoy the free trip up. Especially when it is clear... and when you can stay till it is night too... and take a tripod. If I cannot get up there frequently, I MUST encourage you to do it for me!
Glad you liked the photo... if only I had a dSLR!!!
